Le vide est le premier tiers d’une série de EPs qui s’additionnent pour composer le prochain album d’Original Gros Bonnet. Dans ce premier fragment, le groupe explore une insouciance ostentatoire et arrogante à travers des chansons débordantes d’énergie et de confiance aveugle. Des basses décapantes et un ton de voix modifié par une tonne d’effets contribuent au son moderne et maximaliste des chansons formant le cœur du projet. Entourant ces pièces qui vont droit au but, deux pièces instrumentales aux arrangements évolutifs ajoutent une profondeur au projet.
Le vide is the first installment of a series of EPs that add up to Original Gros Bonnet’s new album. In this initial third of the project, the band explores an unabashed and almost arrogant carelessness through energetic songs that are overflowing with confidence. Ground-shaking basses and vocals transformed by multiple effects contribute to the modern and maximalist sound of the songs at the heart of the EP. Enclosing those are two instrumental pieces, whose progressive arrangements add depth to the project.
