girl with dream's debut EP Tell is an intimate exploration of loss, identity, and resilience. Originally conceived as a private act of catharsis, this project allowed her to navigate the emotional aftermath of a long-term relationship’s end and the deeply personal experience of a subsequent abortion. As a transwoman, she confronted the complex intersections of fertility, identity, and the often unspoken grief that can accompany such profound life events. Encouraged by friends and collaborators, this deeply personal work evolved into a public statement. The EP engages with themes of grief and recovery, offering a nuanced perspective that challenges the boundaries of what queer and trans narratives can encompass.

With Tell, girl with dream seeks not only to document her own experience but to amplify the voices of those who may feel unseen, weaving her story into the larger fabric of her community’s collective memory
